The Opportunity:

At Taozi Tree Yoga, we are seeking a dedicated Community Engagement & Studio Operations Manager to be the welcoming face and operational backbone of our three studios in Sanlitun, Jinshang, and By WAB. This role is your chance to directly shape the daily experience of our vibrant international yoga community, turning first-time visitors into lifelong members and friends. Your Role:
You will be the central hub for our community, blending hospitality, operations, and growth. Your focus will be on nurturing student relationships, ensuring flawless studio experiences, and driving engagement to support the growth of all three Taozi Tree Yoga locations. You will be the vital link between our students, our teachers, and our space, ensuring every interaction reflects our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relations & Community Building:

- Build and maintain a warm, supportive, and friendly community for our students.
- Proactively engage with students to understand their needs, provide encouragement, and support their yoga journey.
- Manage communication with students via phone, WeChat, and in-person, ensuring timely and friendly responses.
- Encourage and facilitate student feedback, testimonials, and recommendations.
- Greet new students at the studio, remembering names and faces to foster a welcoming environment.
- Arrange, attend and support special yoga events.
Sales & Promotions:

- Drive sales by converting students into loyal members through proactive engagement and education about our offerings.
- Promote class passes, memberships, workshops, trainings and events through regular posts in our WeChat groups and other communication channels, such as Xiaohongshu.
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotion, sponsorship and collaboration with local businesses to expand our reach.
Community Outreach:

- Build relationships with local wellness communities, businesses and organisations to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Represent Taozi Tree Yoga in the local community, enhancing our reputation and visibility.
Studio Management:

- Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring clean, welcoming, and organised spaces.
- Coordinate with teachers and cleaning staff to maintain studio standards.
- Assist in the preparation of the class schedule, ensuring it aligns with student needs and preferences, and accurately enter it into our mini-program for seamless booking.
- Use our mini-program to track membership, follow up with students, and manage bookings.
Proactive Improvements:

- Identify and suggest new classes, workshops, and events based on student feedback and observed needs.
- Work closely with the Taozi team to implement new ideas that enhance the student experience and studio offerings.
Who You Are:
An enthusiastic, people-oriented individual who is eager to build a career in an international and dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about yoga, wellness, and community building.
- Language Skills: Native Chinese with strong English proficiency, and excellent communication skills.
- Personality: Outgoing, empathetic, and passionate about yoga and wellness.
- Sales Orientation: Ability to drive sales and promote services with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using WeChat, Xiaohongshu, our studio mini-program for bookings, Canva for design, Feishu, the all-in-one collaboration platform, and other social media tools.
- Community Focused: A genuine interest in building connections and remembering names and faces.
- Problem-Solver: Capable of addressing and resolving student concerns autonomously.
- Experience: Previous customer-facing or sales experience is a plus but not essential.

- Base salary of RMB 6,000- 12,000 per month (depending on experience and time commitment) + performance-based bonuses and commissions

- Hours: 20-40 hours a week (depending on role) including ad-hoc attendance of yoga events, classes and trainings on weekends and evenings (as needed).
