We are looking for a design intern to join our design team here at APCO Worldwide, in Shanghai. The internship is designed to give interns a valuable educational experience, with exposure to a wide range of design work, such as development, implementation and delivery of marketing & social media design materials, corporate brand and communication tools. We are seeking a candidate with graphic design skills, especially strong PowerPoint skills, who is able to take briefs from internal colleagues to create visually stunning PowerPoint presentations for our clients and new business.

Application Process

Primary Responsibilities:
- Takes briefs and develops PowerPoint decks for various purposes e.g. new business credentials/cred decks, pitch presentations etc. and maintains active feedback loop with teams
- Assesses the length and style of the presentation, chooses fonts, graphics, and other visual elements for the slides to ensure the message is presented effectively.
- Supports in designing graphic content, illustrations, and infographics for social media and internal communications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience or strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in creating visually compelling graphics and layouts.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite software and Adobe CS Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) is also required.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
