Graham Stuart MP met with British business

Last Friday, we hosted our members to Kerry Hotel Beijing for its customary ‘welcome back’ drinks reception with Graham Stuart MP​ (Minister for Investment at the Department for International Trade). After listening to Mr. Stuart’s engaging speech, members mingled and chatted with Mr. Stuart, moving from the Kowloon Ballroom to enjoy the warm summer evening on the terrace.

This was the first visit by a UK government Minister following the creation of the new government. The Minister was on a visit to China as a priority to boost our trade with one of the UK’s largest trading partners, building on our extensive trading relationship and making it clear that the UK is the partner of choice for Chinese businesses.
