We are delighted to announce that Fuel Ventures Asia has officially joined the BritCham community! As a bridge connecting European tech innovation with Asian market opportunities, we specialise in investing in and assisting market-proven, high-growth technology companies to expand and integrate into the Asian market.

Fuel Ventures is a top-tier venture capital firm headquartered in London, outperforming 95% of its global peers and ranked No. 1 in the UK. We focus on investing in globally leading tech companies with the potential for 10x to 100x returns. Our GP team consists of serial entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits, boasting over 50 years of cumulative experience and total exits exceeding £3 billion. We have led investments in over 210 high-growth tech companies. Our outstanding track record is widely recognized by subsequent institutional investors, solidifying our reputation as one of the UK’s most influential early-stage investors. We consecutively won the UK’s “Best Investor” awards in 2022 and 2023, successfully listed the Fuel Ventures VCT fund on the London Stock Exchange Main Market in March 2024, and further secured the “Best Investor Returns” and “Best New Product” awards in November 2024.

Building upon this robust foundation, Fuel Ventures Asia (FVA), our Asian flagship fund, was established in Singapore in 2023. FVA is dedicated to guiding 5-7 of our top European portfolio companies into the Asian market. Through our unique ecosystem of “GP team + local team + Asian strategic partners,” we empower the upgrading of Asian industrial chains with European frontier technologies. We have established long-term partnerships with premier institutions such as Zhongguancun Development Group and Shijingshan Industrial Fund, and have garnered strong support from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and EDBI. In academia, we are not only an officially certified investment institution by the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a joint laboratory but also a strategic MBA partner for both NUS and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Furthermore, we are an official partner of the Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP) and the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP). These achievements, including winning the BritCham “Most Influential British Business in Singapore” award, demonstrate FVA’s powerful ecosystem influence and execution capabilities within a remarkably short timeframe.

Guided by this strategic positioning, the Fuel Ventures Asia Innovation Fund is dedicated to building a Eurasia-focused, deep-tech ecosystem. Our investment themes cover frontier sectors such as new materials, agri-tech, green data centres, and quantum technology. Our unique model seeks not only financial returns but also aims to facilitate industrial chain optimisation and strategic upgrades in China and Asia by introducing advanced European technologies, thereby delivering both economic benefits and long-term strategic value.
