A Warm Welcome to Ambassador Peter Wilson CMG

Earlier this month, the British business community in China gathered for a special reception to welcome Peter Wilson CMG, the newly appointed British Ambassador to China.

Hosted jointly by the British Chamber of Commerce in China (BritCham China) and the China-Britain Business Council, the reception brought together business representatives from across our community, all united by a shared commitment to strengthening the bonds between the UK and China.

While the event was held behind closed doors, the atmosphere was one of warmth, optimism, and partnership — a reflection of the strong, collaborative spirit that defines our network.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable occasion, our Vice Chair, Hong Zhang, represented BritCham China and delivered remarks on behalf of the Chamber. We are especially grateful to Ambassador Wilson who personally introduced himself to the majority of those in attendance.
