Overall Description:
The Director of Performing Arts is a strategic and visionary leader responsible for the overall development, management, and promotion of a world-class performing arts programme across the school. This role demands a dynamic individual who will inspire students and staff alike, fostering a vibrant and inclusive culture of excellence in music, dance, and drama. The Director will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to align the performing arts with the school’s broader educational goals and ethos.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum two years of teaching experience
• A certified teaching qualification such as PGCE
• A commitment to the best interest of young children
• A warm and friendly personality
• Sensitivity to the feelings and needs of others
• An ability to relate well to young children
• An ability to establish a positive and healthy relationship with parents and families
• Previous experience of working with a diverse group of young children and/or implementation of inquiry-based learning approach preferable
