JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Support the director of operations to fulfil below tasks:
1. Examination Administration
- Coordinate all aspects of exam administration, including candidate registration, scheduling, and timetabling.
- Ensure examination entries are processed accurately and within deadlines.
- Allocate examiners, venues, and resources for practical exams.
2. Exam Delivery
- Oversee the smooth running of both practical (instrumental/vocal) and written theory exams.
- Ensure exam venues meet required standards (instruments, acoustics, facilities).
- Distribute and safeguard mark sheets, and confidential materials in line with exam board
3. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all exams are delivered in compliance with board policies, regulations, and safeguarding requirements.
- Monitor examiner conduct and candidate experience, reporting any irregularities.
- Maintain accurate records and support audit requirements.
4. Communication & Support
- Act as the main point of contact for exam centres, teachers, parents, and candidates.
- Provide clear guidance on exam procedures, regulations, and results timelines.
- Handle enquiries, complaints, and special requests (e.g., reasonable adjustments).
5. Results & Reporting
- Manage the processing, verification, and release of exam results and certificates.
- Compile reports and statistics on exam participation, pass rates, and operational performance.
6. Other Duties
- Assist with new projects or digital exam delivery initiatives.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Education, Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in exam administration, full-time school academic administration, or education management.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fast learner.
- Ability to work flexibly, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
- We offer flexible work options. It is acceptable to come to the office 3 days a week, and work from home for 2 days (applicable for permanent hire and part-time hire) with the objective and commitment of fulfilling work assignments on time.
