Member Support – China
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes and enables the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense – through providing technical advice and information; by influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and via safety initiatives and training programmes.
IPAF is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members, which include manufacturers, rental companies, distributors, contractors and users of powered access. IPAF has members in more than 80 countries, who operate the majority of the MEWP rental fleet worldwide and manufacture about 85% of platforms on the market.
Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to provide comprehensive administrative support to the CHINA Regional Manager to assist in the Market development and existing member assistance and training development
The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills and have excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Main Duties
The main duties of this role are to: Administrative support (Diary, emails, reports) to the China Reg Manager. administer all member communications (on regional level) Support the China Reg. Manager in liaising with colleagues and external contacts to research and book appropriate event facilities prepare, organise, co-ordinate and manage appointments, meeting and events generate the content and communicate internally and externally through social or marketing media produce documents and correspondence as requested order and maintain stationery and equipment of the Office in China (in future Update regularly the IPAF CRM assist in communication between the training centre in China and the training department of IPAF respond to enquiries by telephone and email Support the China Reg Manager in staying up to date with all internal systems produce correspondence and documents as requested provide support to other departments within IPAF as required Review technical translations in Chinese .
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful the role holder will: be a Chinese native speaker with a proficient working knowledge of English and other language is a plus actively listen and interpret instruction effectively communicate clearly and effectively demonstrate excellent writing skills, attention to detail and systematic implementation style when working demonstrate good organisational skills and interdisciplinary thinking experience in public speaking or sharing expertise will be a plus proficiency in creating and optimizing PowerPoint presentations will also be a plus strong attention to details and excellent execution skills work effectively with the Microsoft Office suite , ,
Experience required
To be successful the role holder will have: relevant work experience in a similar environment or relevant education .
