Grace Lang is Vice President for Corporate Affairs, Greater China, at RollsRoyce China Holding Ltd, where she leads policy and government engagement across the region. Prior to this, she served as Deputy Director of Policy, Advocacy and Government Relations at the Gates Foundation China Country Office (2021–2025), overseeing government engagement and strategic partnership initiatives. From 2008 to 2021, Grace served as Deputy Director of the UK Research Councils Office in China and subsequently China Director of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), representing the UK and developing bilateral and multilateral funding programmes in health and life sciences, energy and environment, materials and engineering, agriculture, and creative industries. Prior to that, Grace worked as Senior Science & Innovation Officer at the British Consulate-General in Chongqing. Her career began as a lecturer at Sichuan International Studies University, where she earned her BA and MA in English Language and Culture. She completed an EMBA at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2018.
