About the British Chamber of Commerce in China (BCCC)
The British Chamber of Commerce in China is a membership organisation with a focus on providing advocacy, knowledge and networking opportunities for British businesses in China. We operate as an independent, not-for-profit organisation with a strong and diverse membership, representing British companies across the country.
For 40 years we have supported British businesses succeeding across China. We advocate for the best possible market environment and are at the heart of the British business community supporting one another to grow and thrive in one of the world’s fastest growing markets.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the Chamber’s membership development initiatives.
- Support upcoming projects and campaigns, focusing on areas such as Employability, Sustainability, Wellbeing, and other events.
- Conduct research on UK-China regulatory news, and any relevant news affecting member companies.
- Create marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and posters.
- Assist in managing the Chamber’s social media communications.
- Provide support for events, including registration, setup, logistics, and organisation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Chinese will be considered a bonus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and presentations (preferably Microsoft Office applications) and ability to learn new software packages.
- Proven ability to assess priorities, manage multiple activities in a time-sensitive environment, meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as an effective team member in a complex and fast-paced environment.
