SCHSAsia is an impact-driven consultancy that specializes in consulting, training, and projects focused on women empowerment. In 2017, SCHSAsia launched the Women’s Economy Summit an annual signature event in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in China, with a mission to raise awareness of the key role women play in global economic development. In 2019, in a joint effort with AmCham, SCHSAsia went a step further by initiating the Women’s Advisory Council (WAC) an engaged network of leaders and decision-makers that aims to advance gender equality through women empowerment in businesses in China. WAC Members are comprised with multinational organizations who understand that gender equality, sustainable development, and business success are inextricably linked. Current members include BP, Chayora, ConocoPhillips, Coca-cola, Dow, ExxonMobil, FedEx, Henkel, HPE, Johnson & Johnson, Mars, Merck, Microsoft, and UFH. With support from the council, SCHSAsia implements impactful projects and events such as the Women Empowerment Awards in China, the Gender Pay Project, Girls in STEMM, and more.

 

Our team is seeking an experienced Project Manager capable of leading and driving projects, building and maintaining client relations, and applying strategic thinking to decision-making. The ideal candidate is bilingual, has excellent communication and organization skills, and a passion for women empowerment and fast-paced start-ups.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to execute projects and events to a high standard
  • Assist in the development of project scope and objectives
  • Develop a detailed project plan and timeline in order to monitor and track progress
  • Manage completion of projects on time within budget and within scope
  • Prepare regular reports about progress, changes, and strategy for team and clients
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure repeatability
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with all stakeholders
  • Be a supportive, accountable, and proactive team member that contributes to the growth of the organization and its initiatives, projects, and events
  • Take initiative to develop professionally by engaging in educational training
  • Seek out networking, promotion, and partnership opportunities
  • Be a positive and professional representative of SCHSAsia
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Native/bilingual in Chinese and fluent/professional in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Passionate about gender equality and women empowerment

 

Details:

  • Position: Part-time and full-time available
  • Location: Based in Beijing or Shanghai
  • Preferred Start Date: August
