As senior consultant, you will be part of the team working on our market research and business development projects. Your main role is to help our clients in gathering the right information ensuring they make optimal choices when entering the market.
Job description:
You will be managing a variety of projects where you will be asked to:
- Support clients with their market entry
- Plan and manage your own projects
- Communicate with both Chinese and Western clients
- Visit potential partners and/or sites on behalf of foreign clients
- Report directly to clients and management
- Manage the hiring and day-to-day communication with junior consultants and interns
- Research relevant (China related) information to continuously enhance your knowledge
- Produce articles for Acclime’s marketing department
- Assist in writing proposals and tenders
Job requirements:
As senior consultant you will receive support with day-to-day responsibilities from Acclime China’s international management, but we also want to challenge you to take your own responsibilities.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- 3+ years project management or consultant experience
- Confident personality and result driven as you will be asked to interact with our clients directly
- Creative problem solving as many challenges in the Asian market are new
- Strong analytical skills to perform the right research for our clients
- Passionate about China, Chinese business, and Chinese culture
- Fluent in written and spoken English to ensure you can communicate effectively with our clients
- For non-Chinese applicants: able to meet the requirements to obtain a working permit, and currently in China; Chinese skills preferred but not required
- For Chinese applicants: relevant (working) experience abroad or with western culture
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
