Eurus is a teacher recruitment agency specializing in assessing, up-skilling and placing teachers into bilingual and international schools in China and beyond. Summary of the Roles
We have roles in International and Bilingual schools in all major cities in China. The schools offer various curricula including bilingual, UK, IB, Canadian and Australian. Immediate and August starting dates available.
- KG and Early Years Teachers
- Primary Homeroom Teachers
- ESL teachers
- Secondary Subject Teachers (English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business, Economics, PE, Art, Drama, Music)
Qualifications and Experience
Schools have minimum requirements as set out below. For teachers at KG and Primary level the schools require native English speakers for visa purposes. At secondary subject teaching level there is more flexibility.
- Bachelor degree.
- Two years teaching experience.
- Most international schools will require a teaching license such as QTS. Some will accept a TEFL certificate but this is as a minimum and you must have experience of teaching in a school setting.
Salaries and benefits
Schools have varying salary and benefits packages which often cover what we call the 5 pillars of a package-salary, housing, visa, medical insurance, bonus.
