Co-opted | Vice President for Corporate Affairs, Rolls-Royce China Holding Ltd
Grace Lang joined the Rolls-Royce China Holding Ltd as Vice President for Corporate Affairs, Greater China in April 2025. In this role, she leads the company’s policy and partnership engagement with government stakeholders, working to protect and unlock value in alignment with Rolls-Royce’s strategic priorities in the region.
Prior to joining the company, Grace served as Deputy Director of Policy, Advocacy and Government Relations at the Gates Foundation China Country Office (2021-2025), where she oversaw critical government engagement and led the implementation of the foundation’s policy advocacy initiatives.
From 2003 to 2021, Grace held senior roles across research, innovation, and government relations, including as China Director for UK Research & Innovation (UKRI), forging and coordinating bilateral and multilateral partnership programs involving China in sectors such as health and life sciences, energy and environment, representing at the highest level in China.
Grace holds a BA and MA in English Language and Culture from Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) where she also lectured early in her career. She later earned an EMBA from the China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai.
