About the role

This is a pivotal role that includes implementing regional strategies, driving business growth, and managing customer relationships in East China. Your expertise will play a crucial part in shaping our success in these areas.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues at both regional and head offices, taking on additional projects and providing support as directed by the senior management team.
  • Build recognition and influence within the ministry market in the designated location.

About you

To be successful in this critical role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

Essential criteria

  • Graduate qualification or equivalent.
  • At least five years’ professional experience, including a minimum of three years in business development, key account management and stakeholder relationship management within an education context.
  • Strong knowledge of the regional education system and international education, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with schools, partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, influence stakeholders and deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken, together with strong attention to detail, sound IT skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook), and the ability to work independently while travelling extensively across East China.

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of the Cambridge Pathway.
  • Some technical knowledge of key educational issues in both the UK and the local market.
  • Experience of working in an international organisation.
