Venture Education empowers education in China. Based in Beijing, we are an award-winning consultancy working with international schools, universities, embassies, and education organisations across the world. Our work combines research, strategy, events, communications, and partnership building to support a more globally connected education sector.
We are looking for a proactive and organised intern to join our team and support research and outreach initiatives. You will be trusted with real responsibility, involved in meaningful work, and given the chance to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Research & Outreach
- Support survey distribution and outreach to different stakeholder groups.
- Research and identify relevant schools, organisations, and contacts.
- Help manage engagement campaigns and follow ups.
- Track responses and maintain organised records of progress.
Project Coordination
- Help keep projects moving smoothly and on schedule.
- Coordinate tasks, timelines, and communication across different activities.
- Take ownership of smaller workstreams with guidance from the team.
Communications & Business Development Support
- Assist with outreach materials, communications, and engagement efforts.
- Support wider research, marketing, and BD initiatives where needed.
- Contribute ideas and improvements to internal processes and workflows.
What we are looking for

You do not need to know everything already. What matters more is attitude, organisation, and willingness to learn quickly.
We are especially looking for someone who:
• Speaks fluent Chinese and communicates professionally in English.
• Is highly organised and detail-oriented.
• Can manage outreach and keep track of multiple moving tasks.
• Is proactive and willing to take initiative instead of waiting for instructions.
• Is comfortable speaking with different people and building relationships.
• Wants hands-on experience rather than a passive internship.

Work Arrangements
- Reporting to: Project Leads
- Schedule: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
- Duration: Minimum 3 months
- Compensation: 50 RMB per working day
- Location: Remote, with preference for Beijing based candidates
