The British Chamber of Commerce in China is the independent voice of British business in the country. Our market leading events empower every aspect of the business community in China and for the next five months, we have four major events that need the support of an aspiring marketing and events professional:
- September: The China Social Impact Awards in partnership with the United Nations
- September: Employability Week in partnership with fourteen top British universities
- October: The British Ball with nearly a thousand business leaders
- November: The British School Awards in partnership with the British government
- December: Christmas events with the Beijing and international communities
What we need from you:
- A creative mind that asks questions and always looks for solutions
- A real efficiency that can multitask and deal with unforeseen challenges calmly, effectively and positively
- A confidence and amiability that allow you to communicate and coordinate with an extensive range of stakeholders
- A real work ethic and awareness that events often require late nights (and therefore a real passion to execute to a really high standard)
Requirements:
- Based in Beijing
- 3-5 full days a week; for at least four months
- An undergraduate degree
- Experience in running events and driving engagement
- Fluent in written and spoken English; Chinese is desired but not a must
